Coding Styles

C++

  • Runs faster than Python and JavaScript because it is compiled directly to machine code.

  • Uses manual memory management, meaning the programmer must allocate and free memory.

  • Statically typed, variable types must be declared explicitly.

  • Generally harder to learn due to lower-level control and heavier syntax.

  • Commonly used for high-performance systems such as game engines, operating systems, and embedded software.

Python

  • Considered the easiest language to read and write due to clean and simple syntax.

  • Slower execution than C++ (and sometimes slower than JavaScript) because it is interpreted.

  • Dynamically typed, like JavaScript, but generally more predictable.

  • Excellent for automation, data science, machine learning, and scripting.

  • Handles memory automatically, reducing the chances of memory-related errors compared to C++.

JavaScript

  • Designed for web browsers and widely used for interactive web applications; can also run on servers (Node.js).

  • Dynamically typed, like Python, but sometimes quirky due to automatic type conversions.

  • Faster than Python in many cases, but typically slower than compiled C++.

  • Uses event-driven and asynchronous programming, making it ideal for interactive user interfaces.

  • Handles memory automatically, similar to Python, unlike C++.
